Welcome to Dominicatravelguide.com This is a simple web companion to my Dominica guide book, where I will publish updates to the current edition. These updates will be in pdf file format so you can download and print them. I welcome feedback and comments from travellers to Dominica, readers of the guide book, hotel and restaurant owners, tour operators, indeed anyone who can help me to keep the content of the book as relevant and as useful as possible until I write the next edition (Bradt travel guides are usually updated and reprinted every 2 years). As I live in Dominica and am tirelessly exploring the island, both guide book and subsequent updates should always be very accurate. But please let me know if you know of or find anything that has changed or needs correcting. Dominica contains background information, practical information and detailed descriptions of places to visit, places to stay, places to eat and things to do. There are 40 hikes described in the book, there are colour photographs and there are over 20 maps. It is available from online stores such as Amazon (US) , Amazon (UK), Waterstones, Barnes & Noble, Borders as well as in all good bookstores. Alternatively you can purchase a copy directly from my publisher, Bradt Travel Guides Ltd. You can also buy Dominica on island. Look for it in the following places: Calibishie Lodges, Calibishie Tourist Information Centre, Cocorico (Roseau Bay Front), Pirates (Roseau), Castle Comfort Dive Lodge, Sunset Bay Resort, Papillote Wilderness Retreat. Bradt Travel Guides were voted best guidebook series 2008 by readers of Wanderlust magazine Please note, Dominica is a completely independent travel guide and is not affiliated with nor sponsored by the Government of Dominica nor any tourism, hotelier or operator association. |
